  1. The Proposal (2009) 

Sandra Bullock and Ryan Reynolds star together in this entertaining romcom. Bullock's character is a powerful publishing executive who needs to pretend to be engaged to her assistant Andrew (Ryan Reynolds) to avoid deportation to Canada. The problem is she's been bossing around her assistant for years and he hates her. Both Bullock and Reynolds do a great performance. You'll have a great laugh watching this film. It's available on Netflix.

  1. Crazy Stupid Love (2011) 

Crazy Stupid Love is starring Steve Carell, Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone. If you have seen Gosling and Stone in La La Land, you know they have great chemistry together. This film is no exception. Carell plays a middle aged man whose life changes in a second when his wife suddenly asks him for a divorce. He tries to rediscover his manhood with the help from his newfound friend Jacob (Ryan Gosling) learning to pick up girls at the bar. At the same time Jacob is falling for a girl he tried to pick up at the bar, a student named Hannah (Emma Stone), who is going through her own relationship issues. This is a funny film filled with twists and is definitely worth a watch. Available to watch on HBO Max.

  1. Set it Up (2018) 

Set it up is starring Glen Powell who recently starred in highly anticipated romcom Anyone But You which is still shown in theaters. This time Powell is starring alongside Zoey Deutch who is known from the film Before I fall from 2017. Powell and Deutch play two stressed young assistants in New York who try to make their lives easier by setting up their workaholic bosses to date. While the assistants try their best to make their bosses fall in love, they suddenly find themselves falling for each other. This is a fun and flirty movie that you can watch on Netflix.

  1. Life as We Know It (2010)

This romcom stars Katherine Heigl and Josh Duhamel who play two single adults, Holly and Eric, set up on a blind date by their married friends Allison and Peter. The date didn't end well so they try their best to avoid each other when together with their friends. Allison and Peter suddenly dies in an accident and the couple have chosen Holly and Eric to be legal guardians to their baby. How can two people who hate each other come together and take care of a child? The film has elements of fun and love for sure, but also tells a heartwarming story. You can watch it on Apple TV.

  1. Love at First Sight (2023) 

Love at first sight is a Netflix film which premiered last year. It stars Ben Hardy and Haley Lu Richardson. They meet in this great film and it's really love at first sight between them. 

The film follows Hadley (Haley Lu Richardson) who is stuck at the airport on her way to her fathers wedding in London with a woman Hadley has never met. At the airport she meets Oliver (Ben Hardy) who happens to be taking the same flight as her. Once Hadley and Oliver arrive in London they get separated with no way to contact each other. Will fate bring them together? This is a fresh and cozy Netflix film you should make sure to watch.

  1. Home Again (2017)

This romcom stars Reese Witherspoon, Pico Alexander, Jon Rudnitsky, Nat Wolff, and Michael Sheen. Alice (Reese Witherspoon) is a recently separated mother of two. One night when she's out for a drink with her friends, she meets Harry (Pico Alexander), George (Jon Rudnitsky) and Teddy (Nat Wolff), three young charismatic filmmakers. They have no place to stay so she invites them to move into her guest house. Alice's separated husband then suddenly shows up trying to win back Alice. This is a story of love, friendship and the families we create. You can watch it on Apple TV.

  1. Valentines Day (2010) 

The most perfect film choice for Valentine's day is obviously the film with the same name. Starring A-list actors like Julia Roberts, Anne Hathaway, Bradley Cooper and Kathy Bates and guest starring worlds biggest artist Taylor Swift. It's February the 14th and we follow couples and singles in Los Angeles who break-up and make-up based on the expectations of Valentine's day and the love and struggle that comes with it. A florist proposes to his girlfriend, an old couple struggles with their marriage and an elementary school-teacher unknowingly falls in love with a married man. That's just a few of the things happening in this film. We love to see the best actors come together in a romcom. Watch it on Apple TV.
