Julia Davis and Elijah Wood have joined Peter Dinklage and Jacob Tremblay in Legendary's new Toxic Avenger movie. Taylour Paige and Kevin Bacon are also on board.
Macon Blair is writing and directing this update Troma's 1984 shlock classic. The original film follows struggling everyman janitor Melvin, who is pushed into a vat of toxic waste. He is transformed into a mutant freak who must go from shunned outcast to underdog hero as he races to save his son, his friends and his community from the forces corruption and greed.
