Emma Molin to direct 4:th film in Swedish franchise

After 40 years since the first Swedish film Göta Kanal Emma Molin is to the direct the 4:th film in the franchise "Göta Kanal - Win or lose"

The film is to be shot from August to September 2021 and premiere in the fall of 2022, the same year the east side of the man-made river Göta Kanal celebrates 200 years. "We wanted to set the movie in a modern context without losing any of the tempo and humor, and with Emma Molin, we had just the right director for it" - said films producers Anders Birkeland and Göran Lindström.
