With Emma Stone as the lead actress, cast as Disney's Cruella, explores the beginnings of the infamous and well-dressed villainess, Cruella de Vil. The movie is set in 1970s London, in the midst of the punk-rock revolution. Following the young scammer Estella, showing the events that led to embrace her darker side and becoming the vengeful Cruella.
The movie is directed by Craig Gillespie, written by Dana Fox, Tony McNamara and produced by Andrew Gunn, Marc Platt and Kristin Burr. Cruella based on the character Cruella de Vil, the fictional character of Dodie Smith's novel The one hundred and one dalmatians is an upcoming crime comedy drama.
Cruella will premiere in movie theaters and on Disney+ with Premier access on the 28th of May 2021.
