The newest brand new Star Wars TV show has now announced a trailer for their new show, The Acolyte.

Set over 100 years before Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace.

Set in the High Republic Era. The show will be around an investigation into a crime spree that pits a respected Jedi Master (Lee Jung-jae) against a dangerous warrior from his past (Amandla Stenberg)

As clues emerge, they travel down a dark path where sinister forces reveal all is not what it seems.

With the trailer announced on the 19th March, it’s now confirmed that the show will be released on June 4th leading with the first 2 episodes. With 1 released every week following following its 8 episode conclusion.

However some theorists have already speculated that we may see a return to some characters that we already know, such as Plo Koon, who might make an appearance based of an image showing his species. Additionally, to celebrate 25 years of The Phantom Menace, the film will be re-released into cinemas with Disney announcing the following to say and hints towards the Acolyte.

Here’s everything we know about the cast in the show and their most known role:

Carrie Anne Moss (matrix), Amanda Stenberg (The hunger Games), Lee Jung-jae (The Squid Game),Dafne Keen (Logan), Jodie Turner Smith (true blood), Charlie Barnett (You), Manny Jacinto (Top Gun: Maverick) And Dean Charles Chapman (A Game of Thrones).
