The biopic about the diva of Old Hollywood Marylin Monroe will premiere very soon. And then we should expect a new TV-show about her colleague. The life of one of Hollywood’s leading men, Cary Grant, is to be portrayed by Jason Isaacs. We all love him and hate him for his remarkable role as Lucius Malfoy in “Harry Potter”.
Titled “Archie,” the four-episodes drama series will tell the story of Grant’s life, from his beginnings as Archibald Alexander Leach in Bristol to the leading man he became in later life. The creators promised to tell a lot about his personal life and mostly about his relationship with television star Dyan Cannon.
Cary Grant has appeared in more than 70 films during his long career. Among them are "Penny Serenade" and "None but the Lonely Heart," which brought him two Oscars nominations. The actor's daughter, Jennifer Grant, surprisingly was happy with the Pope's script.
The premiere is planned for the end of this year. But the filming hasn’t started yet.
