The Ice Road is an upcoming American disaster action-thriller film, about a fight against nature led by an ice driver to save lives in an remote Canadian diamond mine. The rag-tag team of truckers come together to cross a thawing ice road in less than 30 hours.
The road to the rescue mission is loaded with challenges unknown to the team, by shady corporate entities that will make their rescue mission even harder. Written and directed by Jonathan Hensleigh and starring Liam Neeson and Laurence Fishburne, the film is up for a release by Netflix on June 25, 2021.
