Nanga Parbat

50 years after the family tragedy on Nanga Parbat, Reinhold returned with his son Simon to the mountain to tell the tragic events. The trip became an opportunity for the two to analyze their father-son relationship.

The film is mainly dedicated to traditional mountaineering. The one without 'tricks', which binds the two Messners. In fact, Reinhold is considered the “King of 8.000” meters. His son is following him: "He would have preferred me to do something else, precisely because he knows what climbing means and what the risks are," says Simon.
