✨ Ryan Gosling lit up the 2024 Oscars stage with his electrifying performance of "I'm Just Ken" from the "Barbie" soundtrack! 🎤

Ryan Gosling stole the show at the 2024 Oscars with a jaw-dropping live performance of “I’m Just Ken” from the soundtrack of the hit film "Barbie." The electrifying rendition of the song, which garnered a nomination for Best Original Song alongside Billie Eilish’s “What Was I Made For?”, was a highlight of the evening's entertainment.

Dressed in a dazzling pink suit and matching gloves, Gosling channeled the iconic Ken doll, captivating the audience with his charm and musical prowess. Bathed in purple lighting, he delivered a memorable performance that had everyone in stitches, including Margot Robbie, who couldn’t contain her laughter as Gosling sang from his seat in the audience before making his way to the stage.

Accompanied by the talented Mark Ronson on guitar and a troupe of backup dancers, Gosling brought the house down with his energetic performance. The surprise appearance of legendary guitarist Slash added an extra layer of excitement to the already electrifying performance.

Joining Gosling on stage were his fellow Ken actors Simu Liu, Scott Evans, Ncuti Gatwa, and Kingsley Ben-Adir, who added to the spectacle with their enthusiastic participation. Gosling even ventured back into the audience, encouraging his "Barbie" collaborators Greta Gerwig, Robbie, and America Ferrera to join in the fun, along with his "La La Land" co-star Emma Stone.

In the lead-up to the Oscars, there was speculation about whether Gosling would take the stage to perform “I’m Just Ken” live. However, he kept his involvement under wraps until just weeks before the ceremony, leaving fans eagerly anticipating his performance.

Despite initial uncertainty, Gosling's commitment to the performance was unwavering, with producer Mark Ronson expressing his excitement at the prospect of performing the song live with Gosling leading the vocals. Ronson made it clear that Gosling was the only choice for the performance, shutting down any possibility of a substitute singer.

Gosling's nomination in the Best Supporting category for his role in "Barbie" added to the anticipation surrounding his appearance at the Oscars. The film, directed by Greta Gerwig, received a total of eight nominations, including Best Picture, further solidifying its status as a blockbuster comedy.

In the end, Gosling’s unforgettable performance of “I’m Just Ken” was a highlight of the 2024 Oscars, cementing his status as a versatile and dynamic entertainer.
