Ryan Reynolds might play Johnny Cage

The successful Mortal Kombat has not officially gotten a sequel, but there is already talk about who is going to get casted as the different characters. Johnny Cage, one of the characters from the video game, wasn't in the movie but has been confirmed for the hypothetical sequel. One actor that is rumoured to play Cage is Ryan Reynolds.

The Deadpool star posted a tweet with a GIF of him as Johnny Cage from the video game, which might be Reynold's way to confirm the role, but it remains unclear.
