The Hitman's Wife's Bodyguard is an upcoming American action-packed comedy starring Ryan Reynolds, Samuel L. Jackson, Salma Hayek, Frank Grillo, Richard E. Grant, Tom Hopper, Antonio Banderas and Morgan Freeman.
The movie is a sequel to the 2017 film The Hitman's Bodyguard. The plot continues from the original, and bodyguard Michael Bryce rescues Darius from an assassination attempt during a mandated sabbatical, due to which he is not allowed to use firearms or lethal weapons. Instead, he uses his wits and intelligence to save Darius and save the day. The movie is directed by Patrick Hughes.
