Star studded "The Substance" premieres in Cannes!

“The Substance” is competing for this years esteemed Palme D’Or at the 2024 Cannes Film festival. The film is written and directed by Coralie Fargeat and stars famous actors such as Dennis Quaid, Demi Moore and Margaret Qualley.

Initially, Ray Liotta was set to star, but before filming commenced, the legendary “Goodfellas” actor passed away. Consequently, Dennis Quaid, known for films such as “Breaking Away” and “The Day After Tomorrow” among others,  was brought in as his replacement.

Not much is yet known about the plot but the film is reported to be a so-called “Body horror” film.
