Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour concert film is coming to Disney +

Ida Turesson

While you´re reading this, Taylor Swift is on her record breaking world tour: The Eras Tour. 2024 marks the year she continues her world tour hitting international arenas. Recently she became the first artist to perform four concerts at Sydney´s Accor Stadium. That means she performed for over 300.000 fans - only in Sydney.

The Eras Tour Film hit theaters late last year and grossed over $260 million worldwide, making it the top-selling concert film of all time. But soon swifties will be able to experience her concert in the living room, as The Eras Tour heads to streaming platforms. Disney + is the one set to release the more than three-hour long film. The film will include five more songs that were cut out from the theatrical version.

It's no surprise Disney + is the one that will be streaming the show since Swift and Disney have more upcoming projects together. In 2022 Disney reported what's to come: a film written and directed by Swift. The film is reported to be made for Disney’s Searchlight. According to several sources, the production will begin after The Eras Tour ends in december.

While waiting for the new concert film to be released, Disney + is currently streaming Swift’s documentary performance film “Folklore: The Long Pond Studio Sessions” from 2020.

It's been a long time coming - but on March 15th you can finally stream the Eras Tour.
