Review “The Apprentice” with a young Donald Trump!

As you might know, the 77th edition of Cannes Film Festival took place in Cannes from May 14th to May 25th, 2024. Among the standout premieres this year was "The Apprentice”. The movie is about a young Donald Trump and what shaped him as a person. The film stirred some pots, receiving mostly positive reviews from critics but also faced a legal threat from the former president, according to BBC News. Onepress tv did a short videoreview where you can see the red carpet premiere from Cannes filmfestival, we talk about the movie and show some clips from the movie and a small part from the press conference with Sebastian Stan who plays a young Donald Trump!

The Red Carpet: The premiere of "The Apprentice" was full of glamour. Celebrities graced the red carpet in glamorous outfits.  Ali Abbasi, Sebastian Stan, Martin Donovan, and Maria Bakalova attended the Cannes red carpet premiere. However, Jeremy Strong, who portrays the infamous political fixer Roy Cohn in the film, was notably absent. About the Film: "The Apprentice" looks at the hidden side of American power, following young Donald Trump's rise. He gains influence through a deal with Roy Cohn, a strong right-wing lawyer and political fixer. Despite its title, “The Apprentice” is not related to the reality show Trump starred in. The film includes a disclaimer stating that some parts of the story are fictionalized. It was written by biographer and political journalist Gabriel Sherman and directed by Iranian-Danish filmmaker Ali Abbasi.

The film's release date is still unknown, and according to IMDb, 'The Apprentice' has not secured a US-based distributor yet.
