“Welcome to the Club” the new short movie about the legendary family of Simpsons is going to be released on Disney+ on 8th September 2022, aka Disney+ Day.
In this film, with her heart set on becoming a princess, Lisa Simpson is surprised to learn being bad might be more fun. Ursula, the villain from “The Little Mermaid”, will help her in this.
The poster demonstrates Lisa and Ursula hurtling through the sky in an open-topped car, in a clear callback to “Thelma & Louise”, Ridley Scott's 1991 comedy-drama film.
