We will first see actor Tom Blyth in the series about Billy The Kid this summer in the television series about said name. Now we also know that Blyth will be portraying young president Snow (President Snow was played by Donald Sutherland in The Hunger Games) in the prequel to The Hunger Games.
Sometime during 2023 the prequel to The Hunger Games will premiere, 8 years after The Hunger Games: Mockingjay part 2. The movie will have the name “The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes” and will revolve around a young president Coriolanus Snow, a leading role played by Tom Blyth. The prequel will follow the character as a 18 year-old, many years before he became president of Panem when being chosen as a mentor for one of the competitors at the 10th edition of the Hunger Games.
If everything goes according to plan “The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes” will begin shooting this year and premiere on the 17th of November 2023.
