Foe: new trailer of the movie shows drama between stars Saoirse Ronan and Paul Mescal

Foe is a new movie by Amazon Studios, based on Ian Reid's homonymous novel. Saoirse Ronan and Paul Mescal are the two main protagonists. The premise of the movie recites as follows:

The lives of a married couple are turned upside down when a stranger (Aaron Pierre) arrives at their farm and informs the husband he will be sent to a large space station, and his wife will be left in the company of someone else.

“I need to have an intimate understanding of your marriage, the good and the bad,” Pierre tells the husband (Mescal). “I promise it’s confidential. It’s between you and me.”

Garth Davis co-wrote the script with Reid, which highlights the importance of understanding humanity, nature and artificial matters, giving a glimpse of what the future might look like.

The author also played as the executive producer along with Amazon Studios, Dawn Olmstead, David Levine, Robert Walak and Samantha Lang. The release date for theaters will be October 6.
